when i took my 15" version off and cleaned them the "ridge" is moulded in. meaning if you sand it right down there will be a hole in it. You could get some alloy and weld in some then smooth them.

how long does the paint last on there? i spoke to my brother-in-law about doing this and he said dont bother becasue the amount of dirt and crap that has soaked into the plastic will just stop it from staying on ???

i say go for it. i think i would buy a phase 1 172 if i could change the dash as this is what puts me off it the most

i dont think it matters what type of tyre you have on effecting the insurance. aslong as they dont fail the mot being too wide then its all good

i agree. why buy a cup and then put huge wheels on it? only reason to have a cup is to use it how its meant to be used. Put the standard cup wheels back on ;)
