Well, if youve still got a full interior in and then you can the car it still wont be as quick as a 225. It will be slightly faster will you feel the full benefit on the road...
Personally, i wouldnt bother on road car.
Our ITBd car feels quick and i imagine it will be very close to my...
The work is good and people understand that she whats to keep the car.
But what people are surprised by is the 3K price tag attached to it, most people that do engine transplants do them themselves so it costs a lot less.
I can understand why KTR charge that much to do the conversion and the...
I thought that GDI developed there own, or that was the sales pitch we were given at Autosport last year.
I knew the RStuning ones were done through/with angelworks.
Both RStuning and KTR(GDI) developed and designed there own brackets and i dont really see them wanting to sell them separately.
Also i can not really see you saving a great deal of cash doing it yourself, because of having to get the brackets designed and manufactured the charger its self is...
There nothing wrong with the DS 2500s on the road (except the price)
Had them in my 182 on the road for the last 2 years, carl ran them on his 172 of 2 years on the road and we have also ran them on our track car for the last 2 years with out any problems.
We never thought it was going to be worth it, but when i destroyed the diff at Croft last year we decided to bite the bullet.
I believe its one of the best things weve done to ours (ofcourse the suspension and whole package of the car is good)
But the diff has completely changed how you can...
Im with Dunganick, the second one is a "normal" accident, the gravel trap and barrier did their job and so to did the rollcage and safety equipment in the car.
^ disagree, there is plenty of gravel trap and and a tire wall, if the car had not been on its roof before the comer. I bet it wouldn't have even made the tire wall.
Just a completely freak accident that you can never prepare for.
Looks good, but the price ...Just WOW. You could have bought a full 172 for that price let alone a engine.
But if you can not do the work yourself or know people willing to help you i guess you have no choice.
The ones with the colour came out of the early PH-1 172s,
The fully white ones are either from a PH-2 172 or a 182.
The leathers are differnt colours aswell, the PH-1s are slightly more blue.
As both me and Tony said in the other thread, we think you will struggle to do the rear out of sheet polcarb.
The people that cut our side windows said they would try, but due to the rear screen having Curvature in both planes its nearly impossible it has to be formed.
By all means try, but it...
Tyres are where you should buy the best or best you can afford,
Have a search on here plenty of people giving their opinion on what they prefer.
For general road use i can not fault the Exhaltos, plenty of grip wet/dry and last Very well.
I dont think the fench is to bad, the ground its on is raised above the track, theses a Tyre wall.
Just Very freaky that the car jumped the Tyre wall and the Fence
