I think benefit fraud is really raping this country.
Way too many people who are perfectly able opting oout of the system and putting more costs on the rest of us. Cnuts.
Anyway...paying £200plus for a 172 is stupid isn't it but nothing you can do.
Fill the fucker up with the most...
Probably is
I remember when I used to be a Subaru owner....STI paper filter was proven to be the least restrictive of the panel filters you could buy to fit in the original box.
Mine had it's 24k service early as it was 4 years old but was well under 20k on the clock
Same with the 5yr/cambelt service..had that done in oct on probably 22k....car still 5 years old though so needed doing.
Going to service the car yearly (oil filter, oil etc) from now on as it's well...
As above, just hose all the crap out from the lip on aregular basis and they should be okay.
It's the dirt etc which holds moisture/salt which eventually leads to rusting
Hah, I don't regret it either, just one of those boxes that needed to be ticked!
I was flippin' paranoid about where I left the car etc all the time it became silly & stressful lol
Love xenon lights but rarely use the aircon in my 172.
197 still a great looking car in any guise.....has quite a lot of road prescence without being OTT like the V6
That's exactly how I felt...when you start watching the petrol gauge and misering over running costs it's time to move on. I found the Jap turbo experience fantastic to start off with but it didn't last.
Could just be an age thing though.
Nice pics by the way
