Well i say that due to the one i thought i maybe the same as only happened at some point over late last week/weekend, and i know that insurance assesors don't work that bloody quick especially over the weekend!
This ain't the one that got damaged the other night at the the cat and fiddle run is it? Although saying that seems a bit quick to be registered as a cat D?!
there are two on a 182. one is a pre cat the other post cat.
pre cat = bank one = regualting probe.
post cat = bank two = diagnostic probe.
you'll need an obd scanner like the one shown above to determine which lambda sensor you need to replace, oh and work on approx 60 ish for a bosch OE...
probably not a major difference but for a couple quid extra imo it's worth getting the renault one. yeah 20 quid sounds about right for it to be fitted at somewhere like a mr tyre place.
Cup's didn't come with abs, but 99% sure that the rear discs are the same on cup and non cup versions. I'm sure you can either knock the abs ring off the discs or just leave at is at won't affect it either way.

Motor factor parts will be fine, just a buy a decent kit like an INA or a Gates kit. There's a motor factors over in Jersey called VMW. They should be able to help you out with the parts side of things.
You'll probably need a press to do the bearing, wishbone will be fairly easy though to do at home. If you can find an alterate route to your mates place, do that and take it easy. Less hassle that way.
jesus i find that on the expensive side.
wishbone retail is like 45 quid and the bearing is like 15 quid at most from a motor factors. no more really then an hours labour, hour and a half tops. where did they take it? dealer or indepenent?
I'd only sell you type D for it, i believe you can use other antifreezes - but you might aswell you use the proper stuff. Oh and you need 7 litres too.
