Youll be fine with a normal cat, they were ment to be fitted anyway so no issue replacing it, sports cats are better flowing so will still pass mot and will give a bhp or 2, de cat if you want no restriction more noise no more real power gains that a sports cat , but will fail MOT
Silly question alert ....
Why is it good ? surely you want the back brakes to be doing something ? obviously you dont want to over the power the fronts as it will swap ends but having very little effort seams crazy to me ?
I say this to every customer that complains to me when there car fails MOT, is it a good car otherwise ? reliability? because people think ooh £300-400 is way to much to fix my car ill buy a new one for £1000 that has loads of issues that are different to mine !!
Quite simply , only you can...
enjoy it mate looks a very clean example ! personally id stick to OEM wheels sport if you like think only a hand full of aftermarket wheels suit them , but if you dont want to be a sheep theres plenty to choose from !
PS personally id leave the yellow fogs they look awful imo haha
Lol new one on me !! i was going to say what they are saying there is modification to the valve as a failure , and 'low' braking force but literally no braking force is shite lol new one for me !!!
Question, ive read through that , and all seams fairly basic , but what the tester has failed it on, indicates the back brakes are doing pretty much nothing in the rollers at 18 and 22
Quite curious as the bias valve changes pressure but surely not to the extent that the rear brakes dont work?
Hmmm lucky boy lol most people are coming down harsh on them ! ive failed a few for not having them !! the laws are basically if the vehicle is fitted with xenon lights there must be some sort of wash and leveling system !
The ones with the blanks are more than likely cup models which done...
Well ive had a long quiet month really !
I will say sorry to FEZ already i STILL havent sorted my reg plate :( lol it will be done soon just need to get on to it !! also this may get pic heavy again sorry !
Well nice weather here in stoke and i couldnt miss an opportunity to go clean her :D...
You can put them in the brake rollers it's not a fail having a LSD fitted its just not healthy for them so they normally use a decellerometer instead !
You will have xenon's already fitted mate and they should do the trick nicely working right !!
I personally wouldnt waste your money unless you plan on blinding everybody and failing MOTs left right and center !!
I looked it up as well in the manual today because i wasnt sure ! and true to form them are the rules as vosa said in there letter!
Its new into the legislation only came in as i started testing !!
One thing in perticular to remember boys and girls and coming from a MOT tester here is we...
sounds about right 2-3 days maximum for a headgasket and i only say that because to do the job properly you 'should' have the head checked and skimmed which can take a day or two !!
no, some clios came with what's called a RS lower manifold , this has slightly bigger ports than a standard , if you look at the lower inlet you will see the letters RS stamped on there !
I dont know exactly which models came with this all i know is my 182 does have one fitted !
There not a massive gain to be honest possibly 1-2 bhp maybe 3bhp ! There normally used in conjunction with other mods remap decat etc
i haven't done mine but I believe it just makes them rev more freely ! Again I'm unsure as you'd feel any difference from now if you just did this !
Pretty similar to the title I just want it gone of it doesn't sell this time going in the bin ! Lol
