I don't have a white thing, mine's just the thing underneath (which can pop up and down a bit (about 4mm))
I intend to just use pliers to adjust... lol!
Impreza, a bigger picture? I can't click that!
This is for those that have dampening adjustment only ...
Has anyone got the info on how they're adjusted?
I've either lost, or never had mine...?
Basically, the little "bit" on top of the struts pops up and down...
Do I need to up or down to adjust?
Also, which way makes it...
This looks utterly amazing, a real credit to you. Definitely worth it after all the hard work, it made for great reading too.
I really want to a build a mini now, not a mental one like this, but something a bit more simple but still awesome.
I actually don't mind the initial design, but I can 100% see where everyone is coming from what with you being a 'tog and all that, it probably could do with being incoporated.
If you are going to go for the top one, make sure the QR tag is 100000% central on the card and is smaller than that.
I'm entirely unsure how this passed me by, could have been the silly name ;)
Looks bloody awesome and for the price you really cannot complain! Jesus!
Look forward to seeing what you do with it mate.
We're still going for a dartford tunnel run, right?
This looks amazing, but (and I don't give a crap about "scenes") I think it needs a wing, big time!
Buy a 172 in the same colour, grind the chassis numbers off, put your interior in it, (I assume this is about all you care about), change over the stickers on the inside of the door, wack your number plate on and call it a "conversion"
Cheaper insurance, cheaper tax, winner winner, chicken...
I haven't actually mate, but I'm sure you said they were £10 a corner, and I want five fitted...
I need to try some little cheapo place I think.
I'll let you know how I get on, I won't be doing it this month because I'm supposed to be going away.
Renault yes.
And no guys, they're not that bad to fit.
There's a couple of awkward clips behind the heatproofing at the back of the bay, but you can get pretty good access to where it enters the car through the drivers arch.
I found that where the rubber sheath meets the plastic on the throttle body end, the sheath is able to move away, exposing the metal cable housing.
To stop any dirt/grit getting in there, I use insulating tape to keep them together.
Just a little note here for the ph1 172 owners on here...
Ever since owning my car, it's had quite a stiff throttle pedal, I assumed this was just due to it being cable and not electric like the ph2... this weekend my cable frayed, and with this the pedal got VERY notchy, so it had to be...
