    Easy answer, phone the company that gave you the 450 quote, ask how much to add a stainless exhaust system as the standard one had rusted and was replaced. If they say £20, you're quids in.

    I'm not sure if you car will be driven off of the ABS or the gearbox sensor, but whichever one, a simple clean of that sensor could have fixed the issue, at least temporarily

    Some (not many) ph1 bumpers do not have "blanking plates" they are unfortunately "blessed" with just plastic mould there.
