Its half way there, i think you could pull of a set of red wheels on your car.
In reply to the suspension Comments below, Have to agree although this car isnt a focussed track car i would have still gone for H & R or something along the same lines.
Agreed why do you want more power?
ITB's on standard internals - 2.5k ish - 200BHP
ITB's Cams - 3K - 210-215BHP
ITBs Fully forged internals - 5K upwards - 215 - 240 BHP
Supercharger - +4K - 250 BHP
Turbos - +3k ( i think early kits were like 205BHP but i believe some are seeing like 215 bhp...
Think weve got a set of PF97s in the garage for when we put the car back on the road. But your car will be on track before ours, so give some feed back :P
Track wheels + Rubber.
Brakes, brembo HC + Ferrado 2500s some braided lines.
Remove a bit of weight.

If you have enough for a proper set of coilovers go for it.
Maybe a bucket seat + harnesses.
I dont disagree, i think the 197 is a good looking car. But the Design of the front end is dated. in comparison with the 200. The 200 is more up to date with the rest of the renault range, the clio did need a face lift after the released the new megane.
Love the 200, personally i think it makes the 197 look really dated.
Just add, the are a great drive, much better than the 182s :( shame i can not afford one.
If you are skilled and a good fabricator you could make a 225 engine fit.
However this is a lot of work and there is no simple way to do it it would be alot of time and effort and you may never get it to fit correctly.
