I think they can cost that much from BG if the shaft has been scored and needing replaced on the each damper.

i had both my shafts done, and did not come close to that

When i spoke to BG for the first time for a full rebuild and to get the shafts done thats the price they where telling me, This was around 2/3 years ago and then people like cornering force popped up who can do the job at a fraction of the price with them powder coating the units also.

nothing like a healthy bit of competition

had a quick look, the shafts were 145+vat x2, then the usual regas and rebuild costs, came to £710, no respray
