I get that some people adore these (not a fan myself), and I get that it's super low milage, but 10k? - surely it's never worth near that, even super mint.
When I had insurance on my S2, it was with my service provider (O2) - after a year, I chose not to upgrade and still have the S2 and no longer insure it because it's not worth much these days - I learnt my lesson not insuring my 3GS back when they were new - never lost/damaged a phone before...
May see you around, I'm in Christchurch.
As for your problems:
What do you mean by pinks? Do you mean stinks?
The steering wheel in mine is dead center, I've seen people talk about the steering wheel being out from the tracking/alignment being done incorrectly, there was a thread I saw about...
If it does what it says it does, then there may be a benefit from just running it occasionally, rather than permanently which is no doubt going to be cripplingly expensive.
Yeah, and where will they offer it - just hand a gander on google and many are suggesting it won't be offered at most/all Shell garages like normal V-Power - might just be speculation though.
Have you still got a weekend car or is this now your one and only? Coming from something like an Evo 8 to a 1.4 Clio must be a bit frustrating when you put your foot down.
Re: not a how much is your car thread, more how much is my car worth for sale.... adv
Can you afford to get the belts done yourself and then market it for around ~£3000? For many, just having to get the belts changed straight away is a put off, there are plenty of RS Clio's on the market at...
Just go down to your local scrappy and get some off a Clio in there, or you can try Renparts or whomever. Don't get them from eBay, unless they're genuine OEM, because I made the mistake of buying one back when I had my 1.2 and it was a poor colour match so never ended up using it.
The key...
The most annoying thing about my Samsung, the only downside to it really - not being able to fully control it with stalk controls - yeah you can use AUX but it's not ideal - having to turn the screen on, slide the lock screen, find the small forward button to change track, the little scroll...
Reminds me of the one-off car that was on here a little while ago in gun-metal grey or something along those lines where the guy made custom rear-arches? Was one of the nicest RS Clio's I've ever seen - this looks similarly top-notch, awesome colour, just needs a few things already mentioned...
Why not upgrade what you have? Also, you can just get an adapter/converter for VGA to DVI which might save you a bit of dosh, because most budget graphics cards tend to offer you either or both, but not two of either type.
It's definitely cheap, but early 197's are cheap now anyway. If you got it for 2800 cash then fair play, but if you got it for 3200 as they've suggested, then spend 1k getting it right for sale then that'll be 4.2k spent. A quick gander on AT, PH and the like would suggest you can actually pick...
That's a really good price. He says you can do an exchange service, but I assume he won't already have a wheel from a Mk2 RS Clio - looks like most of the work on that site is tailored to more high-end vehicles.
