Completely agree...I waited and did my time behind the wheel of some real s**tters before I could get any car which was half decent. Personally I'd never pay over a grand on insurance on any car

I know what you mean....ITG seems to be the most popular filter here on CS but I don't think you can go wrong with the K&N.

Rip off for something that isn't the real deal

probably worth it as you can clean and reuse the ITG but will not be any louder than the OE filter.

I was worried about the engine management light too when my 172 went for it's MOT....came on a while after fitting a sports cat:( I had no problems with the emissions though....I think you have to get it plugged into a diagnostic/clip machine to get the fault cleared, have no idea how much it...

ITG, K&N & Green are all good filters.....just vary in price. I went for a Green panel as they are proven in Subaru circles and I know people that run them in spec c models. Good enough for them, good enough for my Renault.

Go to a specialist for the canbelt unless you want to fork out over £600 at Renault:eek:

Have to agree ...the 197 advert just doesn't reflect the cars motrosport heritage etc and instead goes for a lifestyle slant/bollox like Peugeot have been doing for ages. Definately going for a different market with this car

IIRC with this backbox it should be just a case of cutting your existing system to fit.
