I'd be inclined to leave the pipe in situ, put a nail in the end and tape up to stop dirt getting in and then zip tie the thing to the chassis somewhere....It'll look standard then from the outside.
Does anyone know if you can uplug the hosing to the airbox at the valve end and leave it in...
I've got a sports cat on my 172 and TBH didn't notice a great deal of difference in torque levels....throttle response felt a tad crisper though and does pull better top end.
I saw an 'old shape' R32 the other day in black and it looked very aggressive yet quite subtle at the same time....interior looked amazing.
I do think Audi and VW have got it spot on with their performance variants.
Yeah....I've heard the same when it comes to cup versions with the 172 being classed as more 'raw' than the 182 cup.
