Done it! Ended up tapping upwards with a very light hammer, which only took about 60 seconds in the end lol. Cheers for the suggestions :)

Re: rear brake disc convertion! Just remember to get the rear ABS rings for a non-RS

As Rollo said, the front bumper has been replaced (as the little black tabs aren't there)
