It's only worth what someone is willing to pay. Look at what similar cars are asking, but bear in mind that the asking price is rarely the price that the car will sell for.

Is the cat blocked with carbon? That's what our merc had. 4k for an hour or so helped the cat to heat up and burn it off. Get someone to hold it at 4k in neutral and listen at the exhaust to see if it kind of hisses - as if the air isn't escaping quick enough .

Find a screwdriver the same width as gap between the cover / main mirror bit. Place it in and twist, then move along the gap and repeat. I found it helps if you push the bit that you are twisting (if that makes sense).
