do a search. I had sportlines and they look nice and low (not scrape the floor low) but the ride is a tad crashy. Prolines were not as low and still handled alright
52,
a few dints and he has those add on bits for the mirrors so you can see the blind spots and some weird contraption on the rear view mirror ( he is 85). Nice chap and his son owns a Gt40 and a GT3rs so if anyone wants to give me a lift next thursday to pick it up ill;);)
lol talking about the Swan i saw that fat south african bloke and took him for a ride ( in the car.. maybe more later) this morning. He loved it, apartheid aside he loved it.
On the 172 the drivers front of headlight is very scratched i dont think it will Polish out. Do i have to replace the whole unit? Or can i just get the plastic bit on top of it replaced (pretty sure this may damage the xenon)
If i got this...
26000 miles in Iceburg had Camblet done this year and recent service.
Few dinks on paintwork but im sure i can sort that out.
Just have to apply the CS model to it, silvervisions/splitter/turinis etc and ill be sorted!!
taking a bit of a wage cut at work for a year so cant justify mortgage/ Vee/ other car and petrol tbh. I was filling 2/3 tanks a week:dead: lol.
Amazing cars tbh pure posing power.
Re: My b*****d Power Steering has gone to the f**king dogs!
I took my PAS to a guy in brum who was really good, cant remember name tho' but was near the blues ground.
Glacier white is just white tbh. Really hides the lines of the 197 and i dislike it with a passion. Best colours are all, except RB/White tbh. But black looks really smart aswell as albi blue
Im looking at a 172's and there is one where the owner has said that he had some problems with the cambelt initially which were sorted with Renault. They replaced it under warranty and he says there was something wrong with the pulleys etc. A slight design fault ( i think he meant a dodgy part)...
