Does your 172 decat pop, bang and put out the occasional small flame?

Sports cat made quite a difference to my 172 with a Stealth fitted....a tad more noise but no pops/bangs.

    Brakes

Check the rubber seals/gaiters for splits etc as this could be letting dirt etc get in onto the slider.

Oil where it shouldn't be! (valver)

Well on my valver it certainly wasn't me being clumsy as I used a funnel to fill the car with oil and it still leaked into the plug recesses.

At the end of the day it's your car so do whatever makes you happy and makes you enjoy the car more. There are obviously different kits....some look crap and others are more subtle:D

    Feeling the heat.......

I try to ignore the extra fuel consumption with the AC on....I'd rather that than have a seat covered in sweat!

Yeah....the limited run is definately a good thing for the value of this car...you only have to look at limited cars like the Subaru P1 to see how much they have held their price:D

    Change of car?

I know you can modify std 182s to be as good as the Trophy but it's still a bit of a rarity. Like the Williams before, it's going to become a bit of an icon:D
