I moved from a Subaru to a Clio and I don't regret it at all.
Pop on some Subaru/evo forums and have a read.....I'm sure all the threads on det damage....melted pistons, bottom end/bearing destruction will be quite an eye opener.
I was lucky with my Jap import and had 2yrs of good motoring...
No pops or bangs..only got a sports cat and steath exhaust on.
Had this before in my decatted Subaru...sounded like a giunshot somethimes but was antisocial in town lol
Had the same problem on my old 16 16v
Make sure you get the surfaces of the rocker cover/head nice and clean when putting the new gasket on and use decent sealant.
Of course...it goes without saying! lol
Love those wheels though....I would like some but I just know I'd end up kerbing them so I'm just going to leave the boggo ones on.
At the end of the day it's your car so do whatever makes you happy and makes you enjoy the car more.
There are obviously different kits....some look crap and others are more subtle:D
Yeah....the limited run is definately a good thing for the value of this car...you only have to look at limited cars like the Subaru P1 to see how much they have held their price:D
I read a lot of reviews when I was looking for a new car and saw quite a few Clio ones that banged on about build quality etc which did put me off a bit.
In saying that though when I went to look at my 172 first time I was pleasantly surprised by the interior quailty and the car as a...
I know you can modify std 182s to be as good as the Trophy but it's still a bit of a rarity.
Like the Williams before, it's going to become a bit of an icon:D
