I usually am half asleep! Lowered on Sportlines with a Yozza, I couldn't handle coilovers (I must be getting old).
I think I've seen your car parked up in Leamington before, looks nice. I'll attempt a wave if I see you again :)
I'd check all fluids and top up or replace if needed, stick some axle stands under it and buy a cover. If you plan to leave the wheels on you could over inflate them to reduce flat spots.
It all depends on your budget, if your wanting to keep the cost down go for some T1R's or Hankook V12's. I've got V12's on my 182 wheels and found them a great all round tyre. I currently have T1R's on my Turinis and found them to be a little soft to start with but they've bedded in a bit...
I do a 10 mile commute on B roads and last year I found the Clio pretty poor in wintery conditions. I'm tempted to stick some winter rubber on my spare 182 wheels, is there actually much benefit?
Is this the AG one people use? http://www.camskill.co.uk/m37b77s3515p69005/_Autoglym_-_Hi_Tech_Microfibre_Drying_Towel_Single_Pack/RS_GB also is it the best value for money or can you get better for under £10?
I try and stear clear of random branded tyres from past experience they're all crap! I buy the best I can afford which is usually a mid range tyre like Hankook V12, Toyo Proxy or Conti's. My other halfs 1.2 Clio runs on Maxxis tyres, they do the job and are ok in the wet but it's not like the...
The pedal feels very spongy at the moment and the brakes are poor. I think the previous owner replaced them with non oem parts and the fade is terrible!
I'll be getting them fitted at BTM so I presume they'll use decent fluid, does ATE Blue just have a higher boiling point than normal fluid?
I'm looking to change my discs and pads next month and I've got some Brembo HC's and DS2500's. My question is shall I also change to braided lines? What's the benefit? I was going to go for some that BTM supply (not sure of brand) but saw a couple of good reviews on here a while ago.
For some reason the setting to blow air onto your feet has decided not to work anymore. However when you turn off A/C you still get a quick blast of air on your feet?
Has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be?
RS192 has a subtle exhaust note, poor fitment though. With the decat fitted it gives a deeper note and does drone a little. I've now got a Yozza so drone is normal!
I went for some motorsport mounts specifically for the 106, they did a great job on the Pugsport and Supersprint exhaust I had fitted - http://www.kamracing.co.uk/kam-racing-motorsport-exhaust-mounts-peugeot-106.html
Iirc you can use longer bolts on the inner arb bushes to pull it all together. If not some mole grips, I've not personally done it but read a few threads.
This is what I did on mine at the weekend:
1. Download RS Tuner software from Fastchips website
2. Connect RS Tuner to Laptop and click the RS logo to find out code needed for unlocking (for second hand RS Tuners)
3. Order unlock code from Fast Chips website and include the unique number from...
My friend just picked up his 350z wheels from City Powdercoaters and theyve done a great job. He also got £20 off as they closed the day he was due to collect. Oh and it's best just to turn up with your wheels, they're terrible at answering the phone!
