Ive sourced the abs ring and getting someone to fit it for me, however... renault have told me when i rang up for the part that "the driveshaft might need heating to fit the abs ring" ... is this true? apparently the fit is quite tight...
anyone have any ideas?
After some research i found that renault appear to stock them, diagnostics software tells me the part number should be
77 00 867 344 RING D/SHAFT ABS
but ill confirm this with the correct details for my car tomorrrow
Need your help guys!
Someone from the forums has kindly offered to fit a new abs ring very cheap so i was wondering which part i need to buy...
Is this the right one...
Need abs ring changed on a clio 1.6rsi mk2ph1.
Anyone know any garages that are good for this in stoke-on-trent?
Most garages are trying to tell me that you can only change the whole driveshaft but i know the abs ring can be purchased seperately, and im willing to supply a new ring myself.
Went to garage they said the left side abs ring has snapped. saying i need a whole new driveshaft, do you know if this is true? Ive found just the abs ring on ebay... quite a lot cheaper than the £200 they quoted to fix it...
Im at uni so wouldnt really be able to check anything myself through lack of tools etc, any idea how much im looking to get it looked over? Just so i know what a good price is :)
my dad dismantled my clio headlights on the old car, using a heat gun and some other tools. cant remember exactly how but he managed to take them apart fully, fix the broken light adjustment system and then put it all back together in an hour or so :)
Removed/fixed my passanger seat the other day and had to disconnect the pre-tensioner wire while i took the seat out.
Replaced the seat and connected everything back up again and now the airbag/serv light is on and it wont turn off.
What does this mean?
How can i fix it?
Thanks
c905 had some teething of problems as you can see on the o2 forum, but phones built in the later weeks seem to be ok. I have a week 50 phone and its perfect so far however, people with early models have reported
Ear speaker stops working.
Scratches on the keypad
LED stops working.

Have you claimed your cashback yet?
Check your bills mate.. i think youll find your paying full price until you redeem cashback! (which is often a long winded process and they try to fob you off!)
Taken my seat out, so i can inspect it properly.
Problem im having is:
- Seat does not go as far back/forward as it use to
- When the seat is tilted forward fully, it not longer allows the seat to be moved forward/backwards.. so people cant get in the back
Any suggestion of what i should be...
Ok, will try them all in the morning. Renewal dates next month but id like to get some quotes beforehand as id like to change to a company that allows me to put my alloys back on
