Btw... best way to sand the front calipers down effectively? Wire brush on drill FTW for the back drums but on the calipers i dont trust myself.. one slip and wooosh ive just sanded the brake disk LOL
Ive heard hammerite smooth is fine... but regular hammerite causes bubbles / looks s**t after a while etc
But ive bought satin black so do you think its ok?
Im planning to use a wire brush then some brake disk cleaner then paint a few layers.
Did i buy the wrong stuff then?
There was "smooth black" or "satin black" the guy in the store said satin black is more of a matt finish and satin black was a shiney finish.
should i have bought smooth black?
On my old car i sprayed the back drums and front calipers silver (eek) and found it relatively easy (masking off was a bit of a pain) and after about 8 months rust started to form on top... and the general look deteriorated
However, on my new car ive decided to paint the calipers/drums with...
Post some pics of your engine bay as it is mate, people will make some reccomendations.
But... tbh... id leave it as it is. AFAIK the 1.2 8v engine bay is pretty ugly leaving little you can do to improve the look.
BTW have you tried it on another pc / with another cable?
TFTS generally dont suffer from this like old CRTS. So it could be the monitor cable itself? look for bent pins or change cable tbh.
Try it...
I believe this can be fixed... but then again postage is high. Expect to get circa £30 inc postage
Id keep it and try to get it fixed/use it as a second monitor tbh.
My HD movie rips. Around 5-10gb each depending if their 720 or 1080. Half my hard disk space TBH.
If fat32 had a bigger file limit it would be perfect...
Did this all last night... but a few files couldnt be copied over?
Is the maximum filesize 4gb on a fat32 formatted drive?!!! how can i get around that?!
When you say behind the glove box, you mean pysically lie down in car looking up towards windscreen? I get my new headunit in a weekish so hopefully ill have a crack then. Thanks for pics tho :D
I downloaded a program once that worked out the code (downloaded about 30 only one worked) and found my code in my manual later (doh!) but.. i cant remember the name of the program :(
Where abouts is this grommet located? and hows the best method to find it? Afaik it came out nearer to the skuttle panal!
Is the grommed still undamaged? any noise coming from the passanger footwell?
Can you please tell me how to do it through the bonnet release cable? last time i shoved it through the wrong grommet... broke the grommet and had terrible road feedback noise from the passanger footwell.. dont want to ruin my new car!
