If you are bothered about weight dump the spare.
A wheel alone wont make your car raise that much, i stipped EVERYTHING put of teh back of mine, carpet, all trim seats etc, and its about 12mm or so higher up now
I know someone who ahs carbon fibre ones of those....custom made by Renault...but he shall remain nameless unless he wants to come forward, lol

I woudl just wire it straight in to the battery, its going to be on all the time then, and fit a nice inline switch, alot easier too, just switch the live feed from the battery

I paid £1k for mine on 103k miles
Check everything, gearbox, cv joints, rust on rear arches etc etc, nothing really model specific
I spoke to the highways department of the local council when i smacked my exhaust on a raised bit of tarmac, spoke to them about paying for the repairs and he never got back to me, after 3 chasing phone calls i got bored, plus damage wasnt as bad as i had orignally though
