Sounds expensive...i would prefer some more practical carbon products...like a mk2 172 bonnet (lightweight) or an improved carbon airbox with nice filter inside....something we can make use of.. Ta J

the PR dude at palmersport said that there are going to be renaultsport approved mods for the new lightweigh clio cup, and when i asked whether these would be available/supported for the 172s he said yes I asked when they would be available and what the nature of the mods would be, he just...

Renault did the same to me (co-op nottingham), i went in there to book it in for a service, they said "anything else u need looking at", so i said: the centre section baffles are loose and rattling at 4000rpm, many clio owners i spoke to have same problem and u will probabily need to replace...

Only thing that would make me sell the 172 in the next 12 months is when/if renault start selling a RenaultSport Clio 200 The PR dude at Palmersport did say they were working on something to this effect along with Renaultsport Performance parts for Clio cup/172 in a couple of months, he...

I dont think there is a great deal between the panel filters, they are all better than paper, the differences are simply down to material, either cotton, foam or whatever. U are never gonna get more than 1 or 2 brake from a filter which u would never feel, the difference is in future mods to...

The palmersport one was my second...and i agree with everyone..i got 4 big stone chips from motorway/city...no damage on track. I was going out in 3 - 5 lap stints, with the last lap done in 5th gear with minimal/no braking at 40 - 60 mph...no problems...tyre shoulders are worn and overall...

I had a VTS for 2 1/2 years...they are nice cars...easy to increase power, the problem is that with the westcoast, furio, vtr and vts all having the same looks, they are extremely common. If you are wanting more racy look, then the rear seats are dead easy to strip out and a friend of mine...

I got the same piperX one last week...same part num. Dont think it makes enough difference to notice...might sound a tiny bit better... Ta Jamie

Just to add my call to renault to the confusion They just took my reg number and other details...and said if its UK car, it would be 1 year manufacture warranty and 2 year dealer warranty (said there isnt much difference) On my car (dutch/EU import), its got a 2 year manufactures...
