From what ive heard ccliffordbare worth the m0ney, im personally gonna get a concept 300, can get it and get it fitted for £350 from www.clifforddirect.co.uk
I would say that most people on here arent looking for a car.
If i could afford teh car and insurence i would snap urs up in a flash, unfortunatly insurence companies dont like 18 year olds to have top of the range 2 litre sports models
im sure it ET42 for a mk1 clio, i have 15" Oz Titans, they are 7" too, and the rear wheels are a good inch inside the rear arches when i have a car full of m8s and i have no rubbing.
The way offset works, the higher the figure, the nearer they are to the car, ie the less they stick out. best...
yeah when i jacked mine up the side i jacked up sat higher than usual, i just wizzed off my drive(its on a slope) onto the level road, which compressed the suspension again and it was fine, basically it lifts thw weight off the suspension, and for it to fully settle down it takes more than just...
get ur fatest m8s to pile in and see if it rubs, wiht 3 fat m8s in the bck of mine it went down a good 60mm, gives you some idea of what it will be like lowered
I have a 1.2 Mk1 clio and i think the pads are going, when its wet i have noticed recently that untill the brakes warm up i have no stopping power, this has only been happening since wednesday. Also the brake dust a bit of a dodgy colour. Will have the wheels off and check the pads at some...
Its not that its just that this topic has come up soooo many times.
We are really friendly folk, much better than that Reanultsport lot - we have better forums too :P
Yeah on mine the wiring plug from the HU plugged straight inot the wiring plug from the car (the ISO one), but if this sint the case you can get adaptors from autoleads (Halfords do em) that just plug inot the HU and the wiring loom on the car - job done!
I just used the oxygen free stuff form halfords, the actual cable aint much thicker, but it has a thicker plastic coating wich helps interference apparently, plus it looks a cool shade of blue!!
I got uniroyal Rainsports on atm, cant fault em, cept the slide abit when going around islands, but i dunno if thats just normal at the speeds i drive, havent had anything to comare em to, will prolly go for Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2s on the front when they need replacing
i have a 1.2, first year was £1150 fully comp in mums name same conditions as you, that was from direct line BUT direct line dont let you mod that car if ur under 21, which i learn the hard way (car sitting on drive for a week with brand new alloys and me unable to drive it).
Im currently wiht...
I would absoloutly love to have to pay £376 insurence, mine currently stands at £800 on a 1.2 wiht 1 years NCB. When i strated driving it was £1,150!!!
So have i, but when i got my kenwood and pioneer speakers the wire with the line on it was the -. Should say where they connect to the speaker whcih is plus and which is minus
Yup i would go for the 172, the 182 isnt THAT much faster, and personally i dont like the twin exit tail pipes - hard to mod ;)
For the extra 3k, you could get the 172 to go fatser than the 182
I have a Kenwood, ok not that one, mine was £300 from Argos about 1 year ago, but neva had any probs wiht it, went in and works first time, has 2 pre outs for my amps.
But i suppose that where you notice it is the sound quality...
...or if you were to drill sommet like a 3mm hole in the centre of the bolt, get some long self tapping screws, screw them in a bit and use the screw to unscrew the threaded bar.
Or....
Drill out a 4mm hole in the centre, thread it, and thread a 4mm bolt in and use that to unthrad the...
The seal on the top of the rear doors on mine leaks, water drips down onto the back seats, about 6" in from the edge, only when its very wet or i clean it, could it be a similar problem?
