Oh hell no!
You need to use the Folia Tec interior spray, the paint needs to have a plasticiser in it so its flexable or it will peel off.
You need to prime, paint and laqure
Mine definatly only has the silencer on the backbox, and the cat - whihc i will be repalcing soon anyways, just wanted to know if it was worth getting this straight through centre section
I have the opertunity to buy, very cheap a centre section fo my exhaust on a mk1 1.2, 95 clio. But when looking at the existing system the standared pipe is a straight through one, it doenst have an expansion chambe, so will i get any benefit from this centre section?
Basically the viper give more power because it is a sealed unit, preventing much hot air getting inot it, unfortunatly on small engines this does not make any noise. If you want noise you will need to get an open induction kit, unfortuanly thos will get rid of any power gains wiht teh Viper, if...
Hummm
If you ordered them for you car ring up and moan. It is definatly ET42, the haynes manual says so. If you asked for them for a clio mk1 then they should replace them wiht suitable ones
im sure the clio 1 is ET42, this means the wheel at ET37 will stick out 5mm more, unfortuantly this is bad news, had it been the other way around then you could have simply put spacers on it, you might bo ok, depends how much its lowered, the only probs you might get is it rubbing on the inside...
Where are the 13mm bolts? I just felt the two allen bolts behind the caliper, takes the top bit of the caliper off?
I dunno i was just looking at it, neva seen one before, maybe time to invest in a haynes manual
It will still slow you down as the other 3 wheels are braking, but there is only about 85-90% total braking power being used, so if you have to suddenly stop then it is gonna take longer, i would gte it fixed.
Gavquiet - as its only done 8000 miles i presume its still under warrenty?
In this weather it isnt a problem, when i was younger i used to clean cars around my local town, got throught about 20 a week, what i find when its really sunny, if you was one section of the car at a time, say the drivers side, then rinse this off wiht the hose, then move onot the next section...
i would say you will nead atleast 2 50mm cold air feeds to it, 3 or 4 is better, just pipe cold air from a suitable location, front grill, fog lights, you could cut the centre bottem bit of the bumper out mesh it and run em all from there, but the prob is the K&N sits above the engine so it...
ok took my wheels off, but couldnt get the pads out for lack of an allen key:oops:, but from what i can see of the outside pad i have about 4mm of pad left, there is definatly a ridge around the disc, about 1/2mm from the outside of the disc on the outside, and about 5/6mm from the outside of...
If you have a mk1 its piss easy, undo the bolts holding the current one on, remove the hoses going to it, connect the breather hose to the K&N (about a 12mm pipe), and put teh K&N onto the throttle houseing (where the old one was), and tighten the jubilee clip, then just pise loads and loads of...
Ditto, have been having concerns about mine for ages now on and off, sometimes tehy feel like i have no brakes and others they are fine, i hav a lip around the edge of the discs, and the disc is quite grooved, obvously where grit and similar has got onto the pads. Am gonna take the wheels off...
The only way you are gonna do that is to go wiht one that specialises in modded cars. If you join, we have a deal wiht an insurence company and get discounts (i think).

CIS do a thing where new drivers sign up and you automatically get 1 years no claims, even if you have only just passed your test, so thats already 25%...
