Im gonne spray my dash black wiht things liek vents highlighted oin silver, gonna use the Folia tec stuff, the paint has to have a plasticiser in it, to enable it to flex.

the hole is sommet like 5.35" i think, i woudl quite fancy some ^2 or above, spacers could just be made from mdf, shoudlnt be too hard to hack inot the door, your not going to see it, so as long as they fit through the hole...
tbh if the exhaust manifold came loose you would know about it, plus how wold it you have several torqued up boilts holding it on.

I would say sand down to bare metal, treat any rust remaining, and then prime, paint and laqure, your looking at atleast 3 days for the paint to dry. You really need to do it inside, somewhere that is heated in this weather, i hope you have spray paint from Renault, if not go to halfords and...
Well i put a K&N on mine, plus a valer bonent, and it made it quicker, and now ive put my de-cat on it goes alot faster through mid rev range, you shoudl have got a de-cat from me mate, half the price of the k-tec ones

erm.... in theory yes, but on a 9 yar old car, bolts that havent been undone for 9 years are a problem.
once you have the bolts off its simply 2 bolts on each end, if they come off ok its a 5 min job, you can have a look / listen to mine at the next mids meet if you want
Well i have a de-cat on an ordinary system, only a peco backbox, and it has made it ALOT louder, its deaper, and sounds very meaty at 3-4k revs, only prob is its it bit loud when your doing 90 down the m/way for ahlf an hour, makes your damn ears ring
Orange neons are fine, its just the other colours that they dont liek, due to police cars etc.
Im going for blue neons to highlight y boot build, and footwells etc, and quite fancy some blue undercar neons
Wouldnt be hard to do, just wire the neons up to the indicators, so that when you induicated the appropriate side lgihted up.
May be soemthing that has to be done wiht leds rather than neons
I have a mk1 Ph2 clio, 1995.
Brought some m3 mirrors off Bayliss, and the damn things wont fit on, the base plates are the wrong size, only slightly, the one corner will not fit on, the hoels line up ok, but the baseplate will not line up wiht the curves on the car.

Well its just plain renault glacier white, some of the stuff ive had from halfords has been spot on, and ohters havent, but they shoudl be able to match it, if not ill make them do it again :)
When to a local bodyshop today and got a quote for my bonnet, to be sprayed white, have a half badboy, and be smoothed, £200.
That seems liek a very good price to me, but ive never had any work done by a bodyshop before so i havent really got a clue
If its for a mk1, i cant see why its in two parts, except its a unoiversal one that will fit an rt, valver or willy.
On the mk1, you simply have 2 bolts either end, BUT 99% of the time atleast 2 molts are rusted on solid and need to be cut/broken off.
