Anyone that thinks a T1R is that bad, can't have driven on a tyre that's actually bad. I like them, I've done tens of thousands of miles on them in various cars. I'll be going back to them very shortly after trying Hankook v12 evo's and being pretty underwhelmed.
As I said on the phone, Crank sensor is possible, but that's unusual to conk out on you, they usually just give hot starting issues. Did you manage to plug in your RStuner?
it's literally just people with some kind of axe to grind "because it's K-tec"
Where are you, there's a few around, it might be to your advantage to see one fitted to a car
haha, where have you been? This has been the source of controversy on here for months for people that can't accept it works well.
Yes I've used it a number of times on different cars, sold several, and seen positive gains all the time
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
I thought the Dutton kitcar I owned and scrapped because of the circa 1974 cut and shut wiring loom was bad
need to pay attention to if the rad fan stays on more often that you'd expect, if you're using the heating in the car more, general things like that. Doesn't sound very serious though, just varying temperature.
they're done like that because it's the best way. Shortening the induction length kills off torque. Mine's so long I've only just resisted cutting holes in the bonnet inner skin for the filter to have more room. Man up ;)
So my £450 all in looks more attractive now ;)
They've simply realised how badly they underquoted, that's all. Be glad they upped the price before the work was done. Pretty honest of them IMO.
You won't get it done for peanuts. Beware of the "do it yourself" advice unless you're handy, you...
