197 wheel would be decent. No smaller, but higher quality and dished so it's closer iirc. Get to keep your airbag and cruise buttons etc.
No doubt the Williams is probably the better drivers car. But it is an older car, so interior etc feels like a different era. Both could potentially be a money pit, but I always feel safer with the newer option in that respect.
Of all the 1*2's I owned, the ph1 was my favourite all things...
As an all round car, it's a better car than the mk2's. But as a hothatch, it's not. The Trophy is more fun, and more feelsome. In years to come when people sit around making top3 lists, the Trophy will be there. None of the mk3's will (so far).
Secured a cup rack (uber cheap) so will have the quicker steering soon. Still averaging 33-34mpg, that's calculated from fuel usage. The trip computer only says 28mpg, very strange!
Best advice is to not bother. Not cheap to get any genuine power from them, certainly not enough for it to be a noticeable improvement.
Buy a turbo if that's your game, Renault na engines are not great in that respect.
