thats FAR from conclusive. Could easily be wheelbearing or shock from that test. You need to check for play with a pry bar and look for movement in the joint

We measured them as 440 ages ago. Wasn't a strict lab conditions test, but close enough

also worth mentioning the lower idler which comes in the genuine kit is £46 on it's own. There's no reason to buy anything but the kit

The mk1 was actually OK, but lots of small things which added up to a tatty car, based on a 1.8 8v that was already a cat C. Needed new bumper, bonnet, arches, a full respray and being narrow track with crappy castor angles, the handling wasn't ever quite up to scratch. Also ran 238mm brakes...

Tonight it was time for the bonnet pins all ready to take to the rolling road and map now. Just need to find the time
