I love my 325d, it did look like this but Im back on standard wheels now. You can't beat the 3.0l 6 cylinder, mines 256hp and 383lbft. Biggest issue I've had was clutch E on the auto box and its a £1500 job, that stung after being made redundant.

Id say get a Playseat set up with all the trimmings (H pattern box and handbrake) decent sized screen/monitor and then VR. Don't piss about with monitors.

No we've not, the pedal is only hard when its not running and you pump it otherwise its straight to the floor.

It's definitely not a sticking pad or slider, took the front calipers off on Sunday. Im guessing its possibly the servo vac hose. How hard is it to get your hands on one?

You can hear something but Im not sure what it is, its not from the front anyway otherwise it would squeal.

No dash lights Im afraid, but the servo vacuum pipe sound like a cause. Oh to mention I also have a make-shift head sheild between the engine and the master cylinder. As for it melting christ surely you'd have to have it running on idle for days not minutes.
