noisey hydraulic lifters once engine gets warm

it wont be lifters. that's a typical dephaser (vvt) pulley noise when it gets tired. Cambelt replacement plus £174 for the extra part

What does remapping actually mean for your engine map?

doesn't have to. Just that parts of the cal, ie background settings, have been modified in advance. That can apply to things like fuel target tables, boost limit tables, correction factors etc

What does remapping actually mean for your engine map?

Agreed A lot of custom maps that people pay for are actually very generic and pretty much all done before going anywhere near a car, then checked and minor changes made. Some very expensive "custom" maps I've seen have been the most generic things you'd ever experience There are good and bad...

    Toyosports exhaust manifold on ebay????

no, and no standard manifold is fine, cheap coilovers are only good enough for road use

I sell and fit a fair few of these. Did one yesterday actually. They fit really well and are nicely made. Fairly quiet, definitely the sensible sporty sounding but grown up choice

    F7R

lot of work to get a shite ECU with the power of a casio calculator running your engine. Backwards step IMO. Do you a Canems for it, be pretty ideal :)

    F7R

you're right Also have to think about the type of injector being used and not just the size. R21 injectors for example would never work as they are low impedence

    cambelt problems (local garages)

you've misunderstood me. It stretches while it's under torquing force, then springs back into the wrong place "buddy"

    Best Brake Pads

errrrr included with the front disks? no Rears are £124.40 including bearings, pre pressed, and pads are £20

    Dephaser pulley?

it would be a belt only (not full kit) replacement job. If it were me I'd do it for a greatly reduced price in the 6 months after a cambelt. I advise most people of this when i give the dephaser pulley option

    Best Brake Pads

dont use anything but genuine rear disks and bearings. It's false economy, you'll be having new bearings pressed in within 6 months. I'm £99 plus postage for "standard" pagid front disks and pads together
  20. D

    cambelt problems (local garages)

the pulley tool is there for tightening the nut/bolt. If you dont, the cams turn and the belt stretches under the torqing force. You did it wrong

    Best Brake Pads

again, 1155's are track pads, 1144's are for the road

    Setting for coilovers for trackday

just experiment. I'd start semi soft all round, and stiffen the rear gradually until it starts to oversteer, then tweak the front up until it starts to understeer, then soften it a little.
