There are 2 different ph1 cats. The single lambda sensor version is shorter, the twin lambda version is longer and the same length as the ph2 cat.
I've had both on my car, they def exist.
Even driving like a prick it's difficult to get heat into the rears. Tbh if someone has the money for a dedicated track car, a set of steelies with cheap road rubber shouldn't be a stretch.
2 holes each side. You can have them both in the same hole ( the rear holes are the soft setting). If you then move 1 bolt forward that the middle setting, or you can move them both forwards for hard. I've been told that full hard is pretty extreme, one to try on track IMO.
No, more precise. The effect is actually quite tricky to explain, best to try and get a shot in a car with one. You can disconnect it in 2 mins, so it's quite easy to do a back to back test.
I had a play with mine today, put it on the middle of the 3 settings. 10mins, a clear noticeable difference. If more people had experience of these, I think they would be the most popular handling mod on here.
Handling wise, yes. But the ride quality is barely affected (a good thing).

The penalty will be the same as having bald tyres, so points will be dished out. Afaik it's not occured yet, but the legislation is coming this year.
A lot of the euro stuff is ott, but tbh I agree with this. Having being caught in a rainstorm (middle of summer) on r888's, they are woeful in...
Having owned both, I'd say it depends on the type of use it's going to get. If it's purely road (b road blasts etc) then the Trophy is a great option. It's not perfect (1st thing I would do is to remove the vibration washers to lower the seats).
If it's for track use, keep the 182 and get...
