Amen. I drive mine very hard, good few track days a year, b road drives etc. But always warmed up, regular oil chnages, if anything needs replacing it's sorted straight away.

You know it's a difficult job? Just something to bear in mind for MOT's.

Mine's been pretty reliable. Off the top of my head, over 40k miles and 2yrs -Aux belt pulley started getting noisy, so had that changed -Lambda started playing up, resulting in misfire -Throttle body got a bit sticky, did a bodge fix and then got a used one for £30ish Bar that, just consumables.

It works, but it's not ideal, as the throttle becomes quite heavy. I managed to get a used TB quite cheap, which sorted the issue. I've got 2 sticky TB's in the garage, I'm going to take them apart and clean everything then sell them on. I'll pm you when done if you want one?
