    All LY owners please.

See, oddly, I think it looks good on the 200. I think the black/yellow thing works well. Shame the 200 looks like it's been crash tested.

    Scratch/rust

Got a scratch down to the metal, showing a wee sign of rust after a week. Can't get the dent/scratch sorted for a few weeks, is there anything I can put on the effected area to stop rust?

    All LY owners please.

It's just above inferno for me. But only just. Suits the mk3's about a hundred times more than the mk2's.

New Type Of Coilovers Just Arrived - Testing Ahead!

The 182 with cup packs has different bolt spacing, so they'd need modifying to fit.

    Too 200 Or not?

I'd love a go fella, the plonkers at Renault Birmingham won't be getting a test car in. And when they do, the test route consists of 30/40mph roads. Clever! What's happened with the trophy?

    Too 200 Or not?

Type to see your bias isn't restricted to footie chat lad;). As an all rounder, the mk3 is the better car. But purely for driving fun, the dull light steering, and the relative lack of feedback puts me off. I prefer the more lively handling of older cars as well. Saying that, I've not driven...

Time for new brakes. Which ones? mk2 ph2 1.6

GSF car parts, dotted around the country and the do mail order. Phone them and they'll make sure you get the right bits.

Time for new brakes. Which ones? mk2 ph2 1.6

It's a 1.6, so standards all round is all you need. The pads and discs front to rear are different.

    dmn1989 Trophy

Pointless, for me. Adds weight, not needed unless your going for buckets/harnesses. If you are, get a proper cage, not some silly show cage.

Try the hankook rs2. Much cheaper. Not ultimately as grippy, but better than a road tyre.

    clio 200 and the recaros.

Indeed. The comparisons with the FRS were a bit silly, because you can use the FRS all day every day as you're only car. Not so the R26R. It's got less storage than an Elise in reality.

    clio 200 and the recaros.

I like the R26.R, but can't help thinking that an R26 on coilovers (KW V3), with a remap would be the quicker car, with the added benefit of being able to leave the rear seats in as reqd. The R would be more special though.

    clio 200 and the recaros.

The steburns car isn't standard though. Put it this way, at Oulton it had the legs on every 197/200 present.
