Scratch/rust

Got a scratch down to the metal, showing a wee sign of rust after a week. Can't get the dent/scratch sorted for a few weeks, is there anything I can put on the effected area to stop rust?

Buy a touch up pen until its sorted

On my previous cars i bought a rust treatment in a pot. You paint it on and it has the consistancy of milk you leave it for a while and the rust turns black. I belive this can also act as rust prevention. Sorry for not knowing the exact name.

Come in your little brown hand and smear it over. Should repel water like I repel women tbh.
