I’m not sure I had the vxr8 long enough to have a view on it. My initial view is that I’d rather have a monaro and 5k in my pocket than a vxr8.

I don’t think so! They’re pretty firm to be honest but I did get the stock suspension if I want to go full old man.

I bought this. I shouldn’t have, but it’s quite a lot cheaper than a vxr8 and I still get some v8 thrills. I also quite like how these have got a bit more of a retro feel to them. It’s got BC Coilovers, AAS exhaust, a k and n filter and that’s about it. 85k and service history. Obligatory...

I was meaning circa 2014 - 2016 when the decline first started.

Honestly, you won’t notice a difference and if you do it’ll only last a week. I sound an old t**t now but tyres and set up are so much more rewarding.

It’s your money mate but honestly it’s one of the biggest financial mistakes I’ve made with a clio. They sound good but that’s about it. I’d personally go cams and a remap on the stock ecu than spend £1000s on bodies. I think it cost me about £300 per bhp when I did it. Outrageous.
