I take offence to that! I’ve done two engine swaps in my extensive vehicle history. 1.8 16v valver swap in this one; And mk3 2.8 vr6 swap in this one;

It’s slow but the turbo engine is a straight forward swap. Ive actually got another coming on Friday which could be a potential donor.

After waiting 6 weeks for the v5 I have given up waiting and rung the dvla to tax the volvo! Had to pay 6 months in advance but the guy told me it’s now 8 weeks to turn around v5s by post!

Springs fitted.

Turned up today so will hopefully get them fitted in the next few days if I can find someone to do it for me.

Ordered some springs. Only a 40/60mm drop but should hopefully tackle that arch gap!

She’s back. Pretty happy with what’s been done. For the money it’s ridiculous as he’s more or less painted the back half of the thing. Roll on summer!

So, 7 weeks after dropping my t25 off for the 1 weeks worth of paint and bodywork it is going to be ready on Saturday! The guy is still working out the bill......yikes but I’ll be sure so update when he plucks up the courage to let me know. Collection will be this Saturday.
