Being completely honest there's no way I'd travel for a car that I hadn't paid a deposit on, unless I knew the seller. Switch it around, if someone had agreed to buy the car but hadn't paid a deposit, and I get a cash offer, I'm selling tbh.

The V5 doesn't in any way show that you own the car. As long as you have a receipt etc you'd be fine.

For your needs, a late standard 197 would probably do. The standard seats are supportive and the driving position is good. Reliability wise they havent really hit the age when it should be a big issue, but stories of melting steering wheels are coming through.

I got all for for £204 fitted. Very cheap for a decent tyre.
