Not true that coilovers don't work. The kw's are slightly softer than a trophy, but can be made much firmer in a minute for track work. H&r's also work very well, but too many people bung themon with minimal setup, then wonder why they don't work. People should worry less about going low tbh.

Tempted to try one with the KW's.

Get an early ph2 172. Get some decent coilovers. End up with a better car than a 182, cheaper. Done.

Yoz rates them. Meant to be good, but I've not tried one.

Bugger, didn't realise. If you don't want to mess about with changing hubs etc, standard with proline's is the best option IMO.

Oh, and pro's are better than sportline's IMO. You get a slightly crashy ride with the sportline's, but not with pro's.

Koni's would be a better option IMO. The adjustable damping allows you to play with the handling balance, and firm things up for any track work.

Finally, someone see's the light. The AST's don't work, far too stiff for a light car. DrRollo, you're not too far from me, more than welcome to try my kw's. There's a set for sale on here for £650.
