Surely it forms part of the deceased estate, and is subject to their will (if they had one) surely it can't just be sold on until will etc is sorted out?
Mine only works on number 4 when it feels like it. Some days it works fine, the next it won't. I see it as a quirk, maybe even a bit of character definately not a fault :D
Stick to a standard air filter.
Best bet to check what the last service consisted of, you may not need spark plugs for instance. Oil, Oil filter, air filter, pollen filter (if it has one) and fuel filter (if its a servicable type) is what I would be changing, and maybe plugs if needed.
Do you...
I've had this problem before, on a Peugeot 307. Silica gel works very well (the little paper sachet's you get in show boxes etc).
You can get a brand of cat litter that is made of silica gel from Pets at Home, I used some of this tied up in a pair of tights to make a small pouch of it. Wedged...
No doubt there are many threads about this on here and on clio200.net.
As long as you are doing it for the right reason (driveability, not out and out power gains) then yes it will be well worth doing
It wouldn't be a simple bolt on job of course, but at the end of the day it's just some bits of metal pipework so easy enough to chop about and make it fit eventually.
You do realise that the std 197 exhaust tips are black and hidden don't you? the only properly visible ones have had tailpipes...
I use mine for browsing, a few games, Plex for streaming to my Apple TV, LogMeIn to control my media PC that sits in the loft, I use a Wake on lan app to turn on my media PC, I write my shopping lists
Alsorts really. I've actually sold my laptop now because I wasn't using it!
It will be much quicker and easier to buy a decent engine degreaser and do it by hand. You'll have a lot more control with a hose pipe or watering can and you can get the same result
Parts seems over priced to me. The coolant for instance - this can be had from renault for £12.40 for 5l of ready mixed type d. That's retail price too.
If they've over priced on simple things like coolant i'd expect all others will be too.
You'll probably find that ANY tint you apply to the front side windows will make them too dark from a legal point of view. Most are already tinted from the factory so any additional tint will push you over the limits of what you are legally allowed.
Just remember MPG isn't the only increase in running costs you are going to see. Servicing is likely to cost more, as are brakes, tyres, Tax, Insurance etc etc.
Mines the same, also it's not getting very warm inside even on hottest setting. It will be the thermostat. I'm planning n putting a new one in in the next could of weeks.
The only total loss I had worked out in my favour.
I bought a 306 D turbo for £1,550, drove it for 18 months, added 40k on the clock. Wrote it off and got £1,836 back from the insurance (first offer and I snatched there hand off!)
It's swings and roundabouts!
