Tbh I wouldn't even clock it in the streets, looks just like any other beetle to me. I can see the work that has been put in, and the paintwork looks great though!!
Moped or something I expect.
I still can't see how it's so low. I know postcode makes a big difference, but so does age and experience, which I have a lot more of, and pay the same amount.
It's a diesel, diesels smoke. I'm going to hazzard a guess at it being black smoke you had?
has it had a service recently? does it get used around town only or does it get a good run every now and again?
Do the DCI's use any sort of partical filter system?
I'm not sure he'll get 16's on will he? I doubt they would fit over the front brakes.
Answers to the other questions, yes 225's will fit, and plenty of people run spacers on there 197's/200's
If I was going to be hit by a car, the last thing I would be worried about is the number plate! lol I'd be more concerned about the tonne of metal and plastic ploughing into my legs/head/body at 30 MPH
Have they given you a fine or anything?
Try running a 197!
Mine is currently sat on 20mpg (over the last 100+ miles). For the last week or so i've only driven my 6 mile commute and back and nothing else. It's about 2 miles of normal roads and 4 miles of motorway (1 junction). I'm going to stick a new thermostat in there just to be...
Ahh yes, ignorance is best! lol. That's like saying because the tyre fitter never told you the minimum tread depth was 1.6mm it's his fault you're running a bald tyre!
You need a dipstick to say for defiante, but as long as it isn't reading empty you should be ok. Might be worth adding a couple of hundred ml of oil though.
I'm not moving to a new iPhone from my 4s until they can produce something that is radically improved. The 5 isn't enough of a step up in my opinion, not compared to the latest android and windows phones. I'll be sticking with apple because stuff just works, effortlessly. iPad, iPhone & apple tv...
Just tell him you've done it today, he sounds like the kind of person that would believe you. At the same time, tell him you have added a supercharger, 2 turbochargers, 2 extra cylnders and you now have 800bhp.
That was very cheap!! Someone got a bargain!
I've been toying with the idea of selling mine recently, but wouldn't let it go that cheap. Maybe £5.5k, but it still needs the belts doing.
Also, check with your insurance company before going ahead. Some insurers won't allow modifications of any type until you reach 25 (i'm assuming you are <25?)
You don't want to find that you aren't insured a few months down the line!!
Well that would mean that the 197 isn't the best car ever made, and that simply isn't possible.
:p
My rear brakes were stripped and cleaned with new pads added and few months ago and it still froze today. I don't think strip/clean will fix it on this occasion. It's a simple case of they were...
The only one I can find on Maplins website for a reasonable price is this one http://www.maplin.co.uk/250gb-intenso-portable-external-hard-drive-676506
I have a suspicion that it may be a website only product, and not available in stores. Might be worth checking before making the trip.
My driveway is quite steep so not using the handbrake is quite difficult! Last night I parked ont he road though, gettting off my drive with frozen brakes would have been a challenge!
Mine was the same this morning, stupidly left it on last night!
I didn't have the time to free them off so just drove to the bottom of my road, the heat generated soon released them! lol
Might be worth a look in Comet, they're selling a load of stuff off (although not very cheap really)
Ebuyer do next day delivery on orders up to 9pm, might save you a few quid if you can wait for a day?
How is that even possible? Mine is only a few quid cheaper than that and i'm 30. I know location has a lot to do with it but I don't think that can be the only factor in this. I can only guess that this wasn't a policy in your name?
