Once you know the number of miles you've done and the number of litres of fuel used its a simple calculation, no need for any websites.
Divide the number of liters of fuel used by 4.546 = Gallons (eg 25l / 4.546 = 5.5gallon)
Divide the number of miles travelled into the gallons figure = Miles...
Perhaps you should make your posts clearer in future?
Anyway, back on topic. £80 for 2 genuine shocks is excellent. You should just buy them at that price Where is that from by the way(or was it the ebay ones above?)? Never heard of kayaba!
Renault Parts Direct? I've used them a few times recently.
This is a 182 CUP shock, however if you message them they will add the correct one for you within a few hours. They are a Renault dealership, you will get full renault parts receipt etc...
It could just be soemthing like the alignment being out.
Definately check the 'brighter' bulb, make sure it's not just had an upgraded bulb in that side.
Spotted a Trophy M1 southbound Jct 28 - 27 07:40ish today
I glanced across as you passed to give you a thumbs up, but you just stared straight ahead. (I was in a red R27 in the nearside lane)
Chris
For the price of the balljoints I'd just change them as a precaution anyway personally. The braking/moving away noise sounds balljoint or drop link related to me.
PM received, still no wiser though. MyCarCheck app holds virtually no data on it (just says it's a Renault Clio 2ltr) but the Motor Insurance Database shows it as a Cup.
What does the V5 say?
It's clearly been driven the way god intended then! Make sure they do the brakes and tyres and it should be all good. Make sure you get some sort of warranty on it too as the renault one is going to run out very soon (3rd October by the looks of it).
How's the history (You might have said about...
Don't take this the wrong way, but it could just be a change in driving style is needed. I went from a turbo diesel to my 197 and it took me a few weeks to change the way I drove it.
I would get exactly the same symptoms with it dying when pulling off etc, I've found it just needs a few more...
I'd get them from Renault mate, there's a guy on here isn't there? Check the traders section. My experience of pattern wishbones and bushes is that they are usually worse than the old ones you take off!
Take it to a garage and never touch it again! If you can't change an interior bulb without damaging something, you really shouldn't be let loose on anything else!
nah just kidding, something must have shorted out, have you checked all the fuses etc? it also sounds like the interior light...
The nose of the car is in a grey colour instead of gloss black, I think the rear diffuser got the same horrid treatment also (and maybe some interior parts)
Of course it's just my opinion, and you may actually like it!
It's a full fat with cup pack mate.
It has climate control, which you can't get on a cup. Also it has colour coded rub strips and the line of stitching at the top of the steering wheel.
Don't buy it though, it's got the awful graphite pack (or whatever it's called)
Lol, this is 100% correct!
I used a dremmel with a small cutting disc on mine. I had some redesigned ones to go in (held in place with an R clip rather that the spring mechanism on the originals)
For a 1.2 i'd just get a pattern one from a local motor factors to be honest. I can't imagine they would be cheap from Renault, probably end up being worth more than the car!
I'm 30 (well I will be tomorrow) and I have an R27.
I was 21 before I had a proper hot hatch, I got my Punto GT and Golf VR6 a week after my 21st birthday. I used to pay about £1,100 to isure both.
It amazes me when you see 18 year olds in 1*2's. The insurance must be higher than the value of...
Me neither, Renault recommend the 5w 40 Elf oil (it's also what they sell). It's not expensive from them either, I paid £30 odd quid for 6 litres (1 x 5l and 1 x 1l top up pack)
