I think this sums up the average attitude a Vee owner has about his car (seemless IMO)

Ph1 is the best (in my biased opinion;)). Hardly any heavier than the cup, but you get to keep the toys (Air con, ABS), throttle cable (lots nicer to use). For the cost of a cup, you could get a ph1 172, decent coilovers, and (bar the looks) you have a better car IMO.

I've been told the CL's are gash, don't fit correctly. Never had a problem with the ds2500's myself.

Given that it's nearly 10s quicker than an exige s over the ring (running the same tyres afaik) I maintain that in the hands of the same driver, it would be considerably quicker. PS Get a dictionary you hun.

The ride on H&R's is superb, barely different from standard.

An R26R would blitz a Vee on any track. Wether it's better to drive, we'll have to wait and see, so far AFAIK no-one in this thread has driven both.

All 5 of mine have, 2 of them from new. As said, more pronounced if the dampers are screwed. Easy to check the dampers, climb under the car with a torch, look for oil on the dampers. No need to take to a garage just to check them over.
