    Leave a rubber band on the side for 5 years, and you'll see the effect time has on rubber. Get it changed.

    I hope your just trolling, because otherwise thats completely wrong. Insurance investigators get paid to find reason to reject claims. Car mod'd and not declared, they can (and will) refuse to pay.

    Flol. Why would that matter. If you buy a 172 on ITB's, stripped, cage'd, would you not declare those mods? It's a modification from standard, not from when you bought the car.

    Insurance went up on mine when I put Recaro's in, as I was losing the side airbags.

    Nonsense. They would no because they a blatantly not going to be standard, any insurance investigator would literally spot it from 20m away. Does your car have side airbags?

    The Vee is awesome, but flawed. The Vee boys get ridiculed because they cover there ears, sing la-dee-da, and deny these flaws.

    It's normal. More pronounced with leaky shocks, but you still get it with healthy dampers. It's one of the things that independent rear suspension solves.

    Pm Fred, IIRC they use them where he works (Ferrari's, Lambo's etc) on cars that are used all day on track. I imagine they must hold up pretty well.
