It says in the MSA blue book that you should be able to reach them when strapped into the car. Though I suspect many cars have them mounted where people can't reach them.

It's an American show now. It's based in the US, so they don't care about us anymore. I enjoyed Ant's enthusiasm, but it's typical of this sort of show now, more so than it's ever been. Endless repetition is the order of the day sadly.

I think stripping back the wiring is a scary job for a lot of people (myself included!) so a good guide would definitely be useful!

Yeah I think it would need a cover. My Escort (a FWD one) with an internal tank has a carbon cover for the tank that encloses it from the cabin.
