The way prices are at the moment, get a cupped 182, best of both worlds IMO. Or a ph1 172 + coilovers. Pretty much the same weight as a cup IIRC, but you get to keep AC and ABS. Win.
I wouldn't go for trendlines again. They sit too high, which is a shame, as the seats very comfy. Cobra Misano's are about half the price, sit lower, are lighter and look very nice.
(I've had trendlines in 2 cars)
Really liked them mate. Def prefer the steering on mine, but I'd be totally happy with either H&R's or AST's. The brakes are awesome, forgot how good braided hoses feel. Need to lower the drivers seat though, and replace that rubber bung.
Not sure on camber, mines a bit higher than yours as well. Fred took mine out, vividly demonstrated that it was understeering with provocation. Altered the settings, I prefer it. But everyone drives differently, which is why the adjustability is so good. I love arctic, I think yours is probably...
You may find you've actually got 15clcks of adjustment, I have. I'm currently running 0 clicks on the front, 4 on the rear. Nice and neutral, doesn't under or oversteer, 4 wheel slip.
Ok. We'll put aside it was done on the same day, with the same driver, on a track that they use regularly. By Evo magazine. And the recent report in PC magazine, by someone who's been using the 197cup everyday on track and road. I'll accept your unbiased opinion.
