I'll take anyone out who's brave enough, tbh at this point even i'm scared of my car, it's no faster or slower than the next Clio, but the possibility of something unusual happening is quite high.
I'll have Ryan with me if he can't fix it no one can, plus we'll be in the garage all Friday morning changing a hub, we'll cobble it together good enough to go on track, I just hope the RAC won't be pricks about it if they have to take it back to Cov.
I have a horrible feeling i've spent alot of money on this weekend for nothing, my car has developed some alarming noises today, the gearbox whine has got alot louder and there's a repeating rotational noise coming from the passenger side which is probably gearbox/driveshaft related too, i'll be...
Ties rods, tracking, oil change, replace one of the hubs, empty all the sh*t out of it, hoover it, fit track alloys, find a way to stop the glove box lid constantly falling off, that's all before I actually get all the crap together I need for camping.
It just dawned on me that this time next week i'll be in a field freezing my tits off if tonight is anything to go by, I should probably start getting my sh*t together, I don't even know if my tent is usable after last year.
Morning and afternoon session in the dog kennel, assuming it makes it to the afternoon session, like it's owner it's getting a bit old and knackered these days.
I really need to start sorting my car out for a full day of track abuse, air filter clean, oil change and most importantly remove the fog lights and make some brake ducts, I was planning on towing it there with my Impreza, but thanks to work being so sh*t this year it's taking longer than...
Right then, weekend pass bought, morning and afternoon session booked for maximum chaos, remains to be seen if the dog kennel survives another year or if the wheels fall off again, think I might bring it on a low loader just in case.
The theory we came to was the brakes were getting so hot they were making the power coating expand and undo the nuts, so this year i'll be using new wheel nuts and fitting brake ducts, if that fails i'm blaming TEG for selling me jinxed wheels.
Tbh i'm a bit scared of going out at all this year, my wheel nuts kept undoing last year and the front wheels nearly came clean off a few times, still haven't figured out why, plus i'm pretty sure my gearbox is going to explode, I was amazed it made it through last year.
F*ck it, maybe i'll...
