    Impact Guns

Because it's easier and quicker, plus the last time I used a torque wrench at the track the wheel nuts kept coming loose even though they were tighter than normal, never had that problem with a gun.

    Impact Guns

Yeah track days are about to become the dog kennels reason for being, so portability is a must. Air tools will become a thing in the future once I get my car port built down the side of the house, but that's a way off yet.

    Impact Guns

Nice one mate, that looks ideal and it's not too pricey either.

    Impact Guns

I'm not a skin flint, but obviously i'd like to spend as little as possible for a good all round gun, it need to be able to do up wheels bolts so they don't come lose on track days, (using a torque wrench at CSF last year had them coming lose after 5 laps) and it needs to be able to get suborn...

    Impact Guns

Working on the driveway fills me with dread as I usually end up swearing at parts that won't unbolt, bleeding from my hands and generally feeling less than useless and not a real man when I inevitably give up and sulk, so rather than struggling away with hand tools or making @HMS Derv Destroyer...

Tools & Garage Equipment sub forum?

That sounds ideal and it's a reasonable price, sh*t like this is why we need a sub forum.

Tools & Garage Equipment sub forum?

I was just wondering if anyone thought a tools and garage equipment sub forum in the technical section was a good idea? I need an impact gun and it crossed my mind that i'd have to start a thread in General Chat which didn't seem like the right place seeing as it's basically car related, i'd...

What is the black plastic part called underneath front bumper?

The Fabia splitter is very soft rubber/plastic, you'll easily be able to make it fit, you'll just have to trim the ends off once fitted, but we all have to do that regardless of what Mk2 Clio we have.

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

This should divide opinion, yes he's 'ruined' a Mk1, but it's also f*cking awesome!

98 Ron Remap running 97 octane fuel??

I've been running my 98ron mapped car on 97ron for 7 years, never had a single problem with the engine. It's runs like sh*t on 95ron though, only done that 2 or 3 times because I was in arsehole of nowhere and needed fuel.
