A few years ago BTM Fred did my belts and removed the aircon as it was broke, I need to change the aux belt as it's a bit frayed but on inspection I discovered he'd used a 1640 belt, the only belts GSF do for my 172 are 1125 1130 & 1660.
They do sell a 1640 but they're for Audi's and BMW's...
If you car's drive by wire (the pedal sends a signal to the engine) they'll be a plug at the top of the pedal, you'll have to get in the footwell and have a look for a wire that plugs into the top of the accelerator pedal.
If your car's fly by wire (the pedal's connected to the engine by a...
Mine has brought up the electrical fault light twice and gone into limp mode, everytime it's because i've knocked the accelerator plug with my foot, so I unplug it, makes sure there's no crap on the plug or in the socket, plug it back in and the light's gone and the car works fine, plugged it...
Yeah it's not your fault Akay, it was beyond saving because of previous owners mistreating it, if it's anyone's fault it's McGherkin's for essentially taking the clubs trusted Golden Retriever to the rescue centre and letting any old f*ker take it, you ruined CS Callum!

Yeah but when new owners have no emotional attachment to the car it just becomes a collection of parts worth a certain amount of money, rather than a potential money pit that at the end will still be worth the same amount in parts.
If I bought another Clio with half the problems mine has i'd...
That's why i'll never sell the dog kennel, I couldn't bear someone ruining it, crashing it, or breaking it for parts, even though i've fell out with my car atm and can't wait until i've saved enough for a decent new daily, the Clio will remain with me and worked on as a project track car.
Not...
I was considering one of these, but the interior is very dated Jap plastic and i'm told they drink a fair bit compared to an Impreza, but cheap twin turbo with loads of room for an Alsation is still tempting.
I need to change my steering rack, but not sure if all 172 racks are the same, is there a difference between PH1 & PH2?
Or are they all just SMI racks and interchangeable?
