Just had a bit of a catch up, good thread, seems like your not doing to bad
Very interesting to hear more about that as thats what i have on the car ready to run...
.22 behind without cams and gripper, i'd be laughing, good work chap
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
Similar / same build as previous lump? To keep costs down, or are you going to do a bit more for a few other ponies
I need a really good conversation with matt about my looms and how it will all work, now i will be running a digi-dash i should be able to loose the standard ecu therefore i can possibly also loose my pigggy back TDF / standard loom...
Will be talking to him this week hopefully
thanks for the posts on the unknown plugs guys, any more elaboration on any of them would be great, pretty sure i don't need them but i am not going cutting willy nilly...
so apply that x10 and basically don't do anything and learn nothing...lol
i understand what you are saying but i am keen...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
why not....
what about engine block, subframe etc etc....loads could be done,
or just keep it (god for bid) just incase
i have thought about this as i can / will be loosing alot more with the addition of the race technology dash2, i need a proper conversation with matt really...
so more done today, finished chopping out what i started chopping out the other day, and then tidied up a bit.... but i am sure more can come off the looms... (more of that at the end...)
Starting off with the loom left from the other day.
after speaking with chris (crispy) i knew/thought i...
did you cut back as much as chris?
that was the one thing i was worried about was how much i needed to leave for mounting the doorcards,
i think i am putting my doorcards in with bond/sealant, nice bit of give and will stop them rattling
better be removing that sound deadening too?
i thought that may be to much to remove as the handles wouldn't have anything strong to mount too, also i left a bit more around the edge to mount the doorcards too....
glad thats more orders for tony too, he should be stoked by the amount of clio...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
satin grey was the colour we were painting the bodyshop floor last weekend... looks good and do like satin grey tbh
but yeah like the above colour
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
where did you get the idea of satin grey?....lol
nope as said ages ago in my thread its likely to be going VW offroad grey, a nice metallic
forgot about the screen god dam it.....
looks like good progress mate
lol at peoples projects where they are just taking photos of boxes that turn up....
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
it looks darker than i thought, its not a metallic is it?
i like it though... i thought it looked similar to the colour i picked out...lol
