6x9's are w**k. The last thing you want is more volume coming from behind you than from in front. Best way to ruin your soundstage. Terrible plan. Get rid of them and put your parcel shelf back in.

My cup is brilliant in the snow. I'd much rather be in that that in something with abs. There's no reason why a cup should be worse unless you can't drive very well.

Pics of the cup would be better... The golf is very nice though.

For road use, the standard shocks and new spring are perfectly adequate. By some eibach sportlines. They go pretty low and handle great. I've got eibach's on my cup and they're great. GOOD coilovers will be better, but you're better off with springs than crappy coilovers.

Not sure if eibach's do 50mm?? But these are the springs you want to go for.

Go and look at the car? And I always buy tyres in pairs. Uneven tread depth from left to right is not advisable.

Why would you even consider putting two different tyres on the front of your car? That's insane.... But put the new ones on the front, definitely. It's not so important if front/rear match, it's left/right that needs to be correct.

You shouldn't tint the windows... Doesn't suit Clio's at all. Except the 200.

I've sprayed mine yellow with hammerite.... Looks great, but it took bloody ages to dry. I ended up clearing out the parents garage and putting a heater in there overnight.

Lol. If you want them to be a simple, direct replacemt for the standard ones then you'll want coaxials. You can get a fairly good set for £50 or so, but you'll get some very good second hand ones for that money.

I wasn't going to put them on, but someone earlier said their pads had worn down to the backplate. I figured we were going for everything.

And coaxials or components? Coaxials have the tweeter built on the front and components have it separate, with a crossover.

You'd be better off getting components than coaxials, but it is more work to fit them. Up to you. As said, mostly depends on budget. What money you looking at spending? Have a look at www.caraudiosecurity.com too.
