Welcome mate.
There's a buying guide on here somewhere, have a search.
The most important things really are that it's had a recent cambelt change, or is cheap enough to cover it, and that it has a thorough service history.
^^^^ this.
Buy a nice daily and turn the cup into a weekend/track *****. Stripped out and itb'd it would be near as fast as a charged one anyway. Or there's the JMS manifold if you didn't want the huge outlay of itb's
Youre asking someone to explain car audio to you basically... That would take hours.
If you have no idea what you're doing, then get someone else to do it for you.
I think the PS3's are going to be harder than the PE2's arent they?
I see what you mean, but price aside, I still think the Hankook's are excellent tyres. Massive amount of grip, dry or wet, and very predictable. Exactly what I want in a tyre.
I'm sure something like 90% of engine wear is from cold starts? I definitely wouldn't be giving it the beans until it's warm. The oil doesn't flow round the engine properly until it's warm as it's more viscous when cold. I never take mine above 3k til it's warm, just out of mechanical sympathy
LY yellow 200, cup packs, speedlines, recaros.
As steve said, not only will you be over the moon with it, it will be sold before you've finished the advert, when the time comes.
Agreed. If you're planning to sell it, why spend money on it? With all the stuff youve bought already, you probably would have had enough to buy coilies.
Don't tint your windows. Clio's look ridiculous with tints.
Everyone slates the parada's on here.... A mate of mine had them on his old fiesta st and I thought they were pretty good tbh. Certainly better than the 'recommended' tyre that came off (can't remember what they were?)
Having said that, I'd still buy Hankook's. 100%. Excellent tyre for a very...
No, only if you're physically changing something on your car. But I'm guessing when you say 'taking it on a rolling road' you mean you're getting a remap?
If that's the case, then yes you should tell them, bit there's no way of them checking, so the choice is yours.
